The following recipe makes approximately 4 servings.

Ingredients
Rice (3 cups)
Minced garlic (1 teaspoon)
Agua (4 cups)
Sal (3 teaspoons)
Oil
Preparation
Step 1: Browning the garlic
In a pot, place a little bit of oil
Add the garlic, and let it brown.
Step 2: Adding water + rice
Add the cups of water and rice to the pot. Carefully count the number of cups being added since, if we make a counting error, we run the risk that the rice may be either very grainy or soft/liquid.
Step 3: Final touches + cooking
Add the salt (a teaspoon per cup of rice). Mix.
Level the surface of the rice (it can be done with the help of a spoon).
Let it cook for 25 minutes over low heat.
