Ingredients
12 eggs
3 cans of evaporated milk
3 cans of condensed milk
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of water
Steps
Bring a cooking pot with the sugar and water to the fire. Leave until it turns into a caramel color.
Pour the caramel into a mold very carefully because of its high temperature.
Turn the mold until all of the bottom of the mold is covered by the caramel.
In a bowl place the two milks (evaporated and condensed). Stir with a whisk. Add all the eggs and vanilla. Stir again with the whisk.
Strain this mixture eight times.
Place this mixture in the mold where the caramel was spread.
Bake in bain-marie (double boiler) for 2 hours at 100 ° C.
When it is ready, let it cool for a few hours. If possible, unmold the next day.
