Cebiche: the favorite (4 people)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg of fish

  • 1 1/2 red onion (one and a half)

  • 1 sweet potato

  • 15 lemons

  • 250 g of corn

  • 4 lettuce leaves

  • 1 rib of celery

  • 1 chili

  • A little bit of ginger

  • 1 coriander branch

  • salt

  • white pepper


Steps

  • Cut the fish into 2 x 2 cm pieces.

  • Place the fish in a bowl with plenty of salt.

  • Cut into squares 1/2 onion, the ají limo, the piece of ginger and the coriander, and put this ingredients in another bowl. Squeeze the 15 lemons, and add salt and white pepper to taste.

  • After the time has passed, blend the pieces of onion, chili pepper, celery, ginger and coriander.

  • Add this blend to the bowl where the fish is. Mix for a minute.

  • Serve immediately with corn, sweet potato slices, lettuce leaves, and thinly-sliced onion (the remaining onion).
